PM Masrour Barzani meets with Iraqi Minister of Transportation

Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq (GOV.KRD) - Prime Minister Masrour Barzani on Thursday met with Naser Hussein al-Shabli, Iraq’s Minister of Transportation.

Increased cooperation in transportation between Erbil and Baghdad was discussed in the meeting. In particular, the need to develop connections between the different provinces and with neighboring countries through developed railways.

Both sides also discussed increasing the number of flights which will have a positive effect on economic infrastructure and trade, as well as tourism. The need for these projects to be carried out in a way that serves all different components of Iraq was emphasized.
