KRG Prime Minister Barzani receives Sheikh Mane Humaydi Daham

On Wednesday, August 16, 2023, Prime Minister Masrour Barzani of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) met with Sheikh Mane Humaydi Daham al-Hadi, leader of the Arab tribe of Shammar in Syria, with Sheikh Hammoud Hamidi Daham al-Hadi also in attendance.

Their discussions focused on the friendly relations between the Shammar tribe of Syria and the Kurdish people. They also emphasised the importance of developing bilateral ties between the two nations and different communities in the region.
