Message from KRG Prime Minister on Ezi Feast

On Thursday, December 14, 2023, Prime Minister Masrour Barzani of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) conveyed warm congratulations to the Yazidis in the Kurdistan Region and globally on the occasion of Ezi Feast Day (Rojiyên Êzî).

Here is the Prime Minister's statement:

“On the auspicious occasion of Ezi Feast Day, I am delighted to extend heartfelt congratulations to our Yazidi brothers and sisters both in Kurdistan and across the world. May this special day bring you joy, peace, and security.

“Today, we reaffirm our steadfast commitment to our Yazidi community. The Kurdistan Regional Government is actively working towards reinstating stability in Sinjar. We are dedicated to facilitating the dignified return of refugees to their homes, ensuring we can deliver enhanced services to our Yazidi brothers and sisters.”
