Prime Minister Masrour Barzani meets UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister

Erbil, Kurdistan Region (GOV.KRD) — Prime Minister Masrour Barzani met today His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of the United Arab Emirates on the margins of COP28 in Dubai.

Prime Minister Barzani congratulated HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan on UAE’s National Day and thanked him for the UAE’s continued support to the Kurdistan Region.

During the meeting, HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan reaffirmed the strong friendship between the Kurdistan Region and the UAE, describing the Kurdistan Region as a beacon of hope in the region.

Both exchanged views on recent developments in Iraq and ways to strengthen bilateral relations.
