PM Masrour Barzani meets with Secretary-General of GCC

 

Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani on Tuesday met with Jassim Muhammad Al-Budaiwi, the new Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), on the sideline of the 2023 World Countries Summit in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The Prime Minister congratulated Mr. Budaiwi on his appointment to the new position and wished him success. He also highlighted the importance of bilateral relations between the Kurdistan Region and Gulf states.

Mr. Budaiwi reiterated Gulf countries’ willingness to boost bilateral ties and invited the Kurdistan Region to attend the Gulf Cooperation Council’s meeting.
