Prime Minister visits Akre and meets with the official of the region
On Monday 22 May, Masrour Barzani, Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, paid a visit to Akre province where he held meetings with regional officials including the governor of Duhok and the mayors of Akre and Bardarash districts.
During his visit, the Prime Minister highlighted the region's significant potential for agriculture and tourism, as well as its strategic location connecting Duhok, Erbil and Mosul.
Emphasising the achievements of the ninth cabinet, which has allocated a substantial budget of IQD 257 billion Iraq dinars, the Prime Minister highlighted the completion of several important projects in the region and expressed intentions to implement further initiatives.
Furthermore, the Prime Minister urged the officials of the region to make dedicated efforts in serving the residents to the best of their abilities.
