KRG Prime Minister Meets French Consul General

On Wednesday, November 29, 2023, KRG Prime Minister Masrour Barzani met with Dr. Yann Braem, the newly appointed Consul General of France in the Kurdistan Region.

Prime Minister Barzani congratulated Dr. Braem on his appointment and expressed the KRG's eagerness to enhance bilateral relations.

In return, Consul General Braem emphasised the special place of the Kurdistan Region in the eyes of President Emmanuel Macron and France. He also conveyed France's strong interest in bolstering relations with the Kurdistan Region across various sectors.
