KRG Prime Minister Meets with China's New Consul General

Today, on October 16, 2023, Prime Minister Masrour Barzani of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) welcomed Liu Jun, the newly appointed Consul General of the People's Republic of China.

The Prime Minister extended his congratulations to Consul General Liu Jun on his recent appointment and offered best wishes for success in the role.

In response, Consul General Liu Jun praised the progress made in the Kurdistan Region and presented a comprehensive overview of China's involvement in investment, trade, education, and environmental initiatives.
