KRG Prime Minister Meets with Speaker of the Council of Representatives of Iraq

On Thursday, September 14, 2023, Prime Minister Masrour Barzani of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) met with Mohammed Al-Halbousi, Speaker of the Council of Representatives of Iraq.

During the meeting, PM Barzani presented data and figures related to the entitlements of the people of the Kurdistan Region. He pointed out that while public sector employees across Iraq have been paid their rightful salaries, those in the Kurdistan Region are facing difficulties. In conclusion, the Prime Minister underscored the importance of the Speaker's support in addressing these challenges and emphasised the need to end the hardships endured by the Kurdistan Region’s people.
