KRG Prime Minister Meets with Top Iraqi Political Party Leaders

On Thursday, September 14th, 2023, during his visit to Baghdad, Prime Minister Masrour Barzani of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), along with his accompanying delegation, met with Khamis Khanjar of the Sovereignty Alliance, Ayad Allawi of the Iraqi National Accord, and Haider al-Abadi of the Victory Alliance.

During the meetings, Prime Minister Barzani emphasised the need for all Iraqi political parties to champion the rights and entitlements of the Kurdistan Region's people and their public sector workers. He underscored that these rights should be preserved just as those of the rest of Iraq and stressed that they should not be mired in political disputes.
