KRG Prime Minister Meets with the Ambassador of Pakistan

On Tuesday, 27 August 2024, Masrour Barzani, Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), met with Muhammad Zeeshan Ahmed, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Iraq.

The meeting focused on recent developments in Iraq and underscored the importance of enhancing relations between the Kurdistan Region and Pakistan.

In addition, they discussed conditions of Pakistani citizens in the Kurdistan Region and the opportunities for opening a Pakistani consulate in Erbil in the future.
