PM Masrour Barzani meets with UN DSRSG

Erbil, Kurdistan Region (GOV.KRD) - Today, Prime Minister Masrour Barzani received Claudio Cordone, Deputy Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General for Iraq

During the meeting, which focused on the upcoming parliamentary elections in the Kurdistan Region, DSRSG Cordone thanked the KRG for its assistance and coordination with the Iraqi Independent High Electoral Commission.

Prime Minister Masrour Barzani highlighted the need to conduct fair elections that are free from interference. He stressed the crucial role of the United Nations and international observers in ensuring that the electoral process is fair and transparent.
