KRG Prime Minister and Turkish President Meet in Dubai

On 13 February 2024, Kurdistan Regional Government Prime Minister Masrour Barzani met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at the World Government Summit in Dubai.

High-level officials, including the ministers of Foreign Affairs, National Defense, Trade, and Energy and Natural Resources, were also present.

The discussions centered on the current dynamics in Iraq and the wider region, aiming to deepen the relationship between Türkiye and the Kurdistan Region. Both parties underscored the importance of enhanced cooperation and coordination to ensure regional security and stability.
