KRG Prime Minister and UAE Vice President Discuss Bilateral Relations in Dubai

On 14 February 2024, Masrour Barzani, Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), met with Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the United Arab Emirates, in Dubai.

The meeting was attended by key figures including Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and the First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, highlighting the importance of their discussions on enhancing bilateral relations between the Kurdistan Region and the UAE.

Prime Minister Barzani expressed his gratitude for the continuous support provided by the UAE to the Kurdistan Region. The Vice President of the UAE, Sheikh Mohammed, reciprocated by acknowledging the KRG delegation's participation in the World Government Summit in Dubai, and expressed his keen interest in further expanding the bilateral cooperation with the Kurdistan Region in various sectors.
