KRG Prime Minister Meets Iraq's National Security Advisor

On Thursday, 11 July 2024, Masrour Barzani, Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) received Qasim al-Araji, Iraq’s National Security Adviser.

The meeting focused on the current security developments in Iraq, emphasising the need for improved cooperation and coordination between the KRG and the federal government in combating terrorism and ensuring the security and stability of borders.

They agreed on the importance of implementing the Sinjar Agreement and the normalisation of the situation in the region.
