PM Masrour Barzani receives new UK Consul General

Erbil, Kurdistan Region (GOV.KRD) - Today Prime Minister Masrour Barzani received Andrew Bizley, the new UK Consul General in the Kurdistan Region.

Prime Minister Barzani congratulated the new Consul General on his new role and wished him success. He reaffirmed the KRG's full support in strengthening the robust relationship between the Kurdistan Region and the United Kingdom.

Consul General Andrew Bizley reiterated his country’s commitment to deepening bilateral ties with the Kurdistan Region.

They also discussed the importance of resolving Erbil-Baghdad disputes.
