KRG Prime Minister Meets Former President George W. Bush

On 5 March 2024, Masrour Barzani, Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, met with former U.S. President George W. Bush in Washington, D.C.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Barzani expressed gratitude to President Bush for his significant contribution to the liberation of Iraq from the dictatorship of the al-Ba'ath regime. He also acknowledged President Bush's efforts in promoting democracy throughout the region.

In response, President Bush welcomed Prime Minister Barzani and conveyed his best wishes to President Masoud Barzani, the Kurdish people, and the entire nation of Iraq.
