KRG Prime Minister meets with Leader of National Wisdom Movement

On Thursday, 30 May 2024, Masrour Barzani, the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), met with Ammar al-Hakim, leader of the Iraqi National Wisdom Movement.

Their meeting covered the political situation in Iraq and the ongoing efforts to resolve issues between the KRG and the federal government.

Both sides agreed on the crucial importance of addressing these issues in accordance with the Iraqi constitution, whilst safeguarding the rights of the Kurdish people, as well as all ethnic and religious communities within the nation.
