PM Masrour Barzani Welcomes New Italian Consul General

Erbil, Kurdistan Region (GOV.KRD) – Today, Prime Minister Masrour Barzani welcomed Tommaso Sansone, the new Italian Consul General in the Kurdistan Region.

The Prime Minister congratulated him on his appointment and wished him success in his new role. He also reiterated the KRG’s full support for achieving his objectives.

CG Sansone affirmed that his country is ready to further develop bilateral relations with the Kurdistan Region across various sectors.

They exchanged views on efforts to form a new KRG cabinet and the situation in Iraq and the region.
