Prime Minister Masrour Barzani Receives Ambassador Sam Brownback

Erbil, Kurdistan Region (GOV.KRD) – Today, Prime Minister Masrour Barzani received former US Senator and Governor of Kansas, Ambassador Sam Brownback, along with a delegation of American friends of the Kurdistan Region who visited to take part in the Kurdistan National Prayer Breakfast.

Ambassador Brownback praised the Kurdistan Region’s culture of peaceful coexistence, religious freedom, and its inclusive approach toward diverse communities. He described the Kurdistan National Prayer Breakfast as a remarkable and meaningful initiative.

Prime Minister Barzani reaffirmed that the Kurdistan Region has always been a home for coexistence and diversity, and reiterated the KRG’s continued commitment to safeguarding and promoting the culture of peace, tolerance, and mutual respect.
