Prime Minister Masrour Barzani Receives President of the Arab Parliament

Erbil, Kurdistan Region (GOV.KRD) – Today, Prime Minister Masrour Barzani received Mohammed Al-Yamahi, Speaker of the Arab Parliament.

Speaker Al-Yamahi expressed his pleasure in visiting the Kurdistan Region and praised the development and progress in Erbil and across the region. He also outlined the purpose of his visit to Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, and expressed his desire to enhance coordination and cooperation with the Kurdistan Region.

Prime Minister Barzani underlined the importance of strengthening cooperation and partnership with the Arab Parliament. He called on the institution to play an active role in promoting understanding and supporting Iraq’s federal system and the constitutional rights of the Kurdistan Region.

They also discussed preparations for the Arab League Summit in Baghdad.
