Prime Minister Barzani Bids Farewell to Greek Ambassador

Erbil, Kurdistan Region (GOV.KRD) - Prime Minister Masrour Barzani on Wednesday bid farewell to the Greek Ambassador to Iraq, Georgios Alamanos.

During the meeting, which was also attended by the Greek Consul General in the Kurdistan Region, Nikolaos Stergioulas, the Prime Minister praised the deep historical and friendly relations between the two nations. He expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the Ambassador’s tireless efforts during his tenure to elevate bilateral relations and enhance cooperation in various sectors.

For his part, Ambassador Alamanos expressed his deep admiration for the development and progress taking place in the Kurdistan Region. He congratulated the Prime Minister on the successful development projects and reforms implemented across sectors. He also reaffirmed his country’s commitment to strengthening ties of friendship and expanding avenues of partnership with the Kurdistan Region.
