Prime Minister Barzani Bids Farewell to UN Special Representative for Iraq

Erbil, Kurdistan Region (GOV.KRD) – Prime Minister Masrour Barzani on Tuesday received Mohammed Al Hassan, the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for Iraq, on the occasion of the completion of his mission.

The Prime Minister thanked the UN Special Representative for his positive role in supporting the political process and his efforts to promote peace and stability in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq.

The UN Special Representative expressed his appreciation for the KRG's cooperation and strong coordination with United Nations’ agencies.

They also discussed developments and the situation in Iraq and the wider region.
