Prime Minister Barzani Receives Iranian Ambassador

Erbil, Kurdistan Region (GOV.KRD) – Today, Prime Minister Masrour Barzani received Mohammad Kazem Al-Sadeq, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Iraq.

In the meeting, which was also attended by Faramarz Asadi, Iran’s Consul General in Erbil, they discussed the development of bilateral relations, the situation in Iraq following the parliamentary elections, and ongoing discussions to form the new federal cabinet.

They emphasized the importance of further strengthening relations between the Kurdistan Region and the Islamic Republic of Iran, particularly in economic, trade, and cultural sectors.
