Prime Minister Masrour Barzani Congratulates the First Deputy Speaker of the Federal Council of Representatives

Erbil, Kurdistan Region (GOV.KRD) – Prime Minister Masrour Barzani on Tuesday sent a message of congratulations to the First Deputy Speaker of Iraq’s Federal Council of Representatives. The following is the full text of his message:

His Excellency Mr. Adnan Faihan,

On the occasion of your election as First Deputy Speaker of the Federal Council of Representatives, I extend to you my sincere congratulations and wish you success in carrying out this mission and assuming this responsibility.
We hope that the Presidency of the Council and the Council of Representatives as a whole will fulfill their important role in passing legislation that serves all citizens and components of Iraq, in accordance with the Constitution and with respect for the federal system.
