Prime Minister Masrour Barzani meets with President El-Sisi of Egypt

Erbil, Kurdistan Region (GOV.KRD) - Prime Minister Masrour Barzani met with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi at the Heliopolis Palace in Cairo on Sunday.

President El-Sisi expressed his pleasure at the visit of Prime Minister Barzani and reaffirmed his country's readiness to further develop bilateral relations.

The Prime Minister praised the role of Egypt and President El-Sisi in promoting peace and stability in the region.

They stressed the importance of strengthening relations between the Kurdistan Region and Egypt in various sectors, particularly in investment and trade.

In another part of the talks, the two sides agreed to strengthen coordination and cooperation to maintain security and stability in the Kurdistan Region, Iraq and the wider region.
