Prime Minister Masrour Barzani Receives Indian Consul General

Erbil, Kurdistan Region (GOV.KRD) — Today, Prime Minister Masrour Barzani received Brijesh Kumar, the new Consul General of India in the Kurdistan Region.

Prime Minister Barzani congratulated CG Kumar on assuming his post and reaffirmed the KRG’s full support for the success of his mission.

CG Kumar reiterated his country’s desire to further strengthen bilateral relations across various sectors, particularly in investment, trade, and healthcare.

They also focused on the Indian community in the Kurdistan Region, with the Consul General expressing his government’s appreciation for the KRG’s cooperation and facilitation of their needs.
