Prime Minister Masrour Barzani Receives UAE's chargé d’Affaires

Erbil, Kurdistan Region (GOV.KRD) — Today, Prime Minister Masrour Barzani received Sheikha Bashir Farhan, the new chargé d’Affaires of the UAE Consulate General in Erbil.

Prime Minister Barzani congratulated her on assuming her duties and wished her success, reaffirming the Kurdistan KRG's full support in fulfilling her mission.

The Prime Minister highlighted the special and friendly ties between the Kurdistan Region and the UAE, and reiterated the KRG’s appreciation for the UAE’s leadership and its continued support for the people of Kurdistan.

Sheikha Farhan conveyed the greetings and respect of UAE President HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Vice President and Prime Minister HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to Prime Minister Barzani, and emphasized the importance of further deepening bilateral relations.
