Prime Minister Masrour Barzani Meets with U.S. Congressmen Seth Moulton and Brad Sherman

Washington, D.C. (GOV.KRD) – Today, Prime Minister Masrour Barzani met with U.S. Congressmen Seth Moulton and Brad Sherman in Washington as part of his official visit to the United States.

They discussed ways to further advance bilateral ties between the Kurdistan Region and the United States, as well as the situation in Iraq and the wider region.

The Congressmen reaffirmed their continued support for the Kurdistan Region and the Peshmerga forces, and praised the strong partnership between both sides.

Prime Minister Barzani highlighted the KRG’s ongoing reform agenda, particularly within the Ministry of Peshmerga and across key sectors. They also discussed regional developments, including the situation in Syria.
