Prime Minister Masrour Barzani Receives U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen

Erbil, Kurdistan Region – Prime Minister Masrour Barzani received U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen on Friday to discuss strengthening bilateral relations between the Kurdistan Region and the United States.

During the meeting, both sides emphasized the importance of enhancing security and economic ties and cooperation. They highlighted the significance of the recent successful visit by a high-level Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) delegation to the United States, led by Prime Minister Barzani, and the constructive meetings held with members of Congress and the U.S. administration.

The discussion also focused on the need to respect and uphold the federal status of the Kurdistan Region, along with the constitutional rights and financial entitlements of the Kurdistani people.

Prime Minister Barzani and Senator Rosen also discussed regional developments, especially in Syria.
