Prime Minister Masrour Barzani Receives New Jordanian Consul General

Erbil, Kurdistan Region (GOV.KRD) —Today, Prime Minister Masrour Barzani received Ziad Batarseh, the newly appointed Consul General of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in the Kurdistan Region.

Prime Minister Barzani congratulated him on assuming his role and highlighted the importance of the strong relationship between the Kurdistan Region and Jordan. He reaffirmed the KRG’s full support for further strengthening bilateral ties.

CG Batarseh conveyed the greetings and respect of His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan and the country’s Prime Minister to Prime Minister Masrour Barzani. He expressed Jordan’s readiness to advance relations with the Kurdistan Region across all sectors.
