Prime Minister Masrour Barzani Receives Phone Call from U.S. Embassy Chargé d’Affaires

Erbil, Kurdistan Region (GOV.KRD) – Today, Prime Minister Masrour Barzani received a phone call from Joshua Harris, Chargé d’Affaires of the U.S. Embassy in Iraq.

The U.S. Chargé d’Affaires strongly condemned the attack on the Khor Mor gas field and reaffirmed the United States’ support for the Kurdistan Region.

Both sides agreed on the need to strengthen the Kurdistan Region’s defensive measures and needs against such attacks, and stressed that those behind these terrorist acts must be exposed and brought to justice.
