Prime Minister Masrour Barzani Receives the Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of Sweden

Erbil, Kurdistan Region (GOV.KRD) – Today, Prime Minister Masrour Barzani received ambassador Jörgen Lindström, the Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of Sweden in Iraq.

They underlined the importance of strengthening bilateral relations between the Kurdistan Region and Sweden.

Ambassador Lindström commended the KRG’s reform achievements under the Prime Minister’s leadership in multiple sectors.

They discussed ways to resolve outstanding issues between the Kurdistan Region and the federal government on the basis of the Constitution and existing agreements, as well as the situation in Iraq and the upcoming parliamentary elections.
