Prime Minister Barzani Receives UAE Delegation

Erbil, Kurdistan Region (GOV.KRD) – Today, Prime Minister Masrour Barzani received a delegation from the United Arab Emirates headed by Noura Al Kaabi, Minister of State at the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Sheikh Salem bin Khalid Al Qassimi, UAE Minister of Culture, also attended the meeting.

They emphasized the importance of further strengthening the special and friendly relations between the Kurdistan Region and the UAE.

Prime Minister Barzani conveyed the Kurdistan Region’s appreciation for the continued support of the UAE leadership, particularly of the President, HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the Vice President and Prime Minister, HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

The UAE delegation reaffirmed the importance of the Kurdistan Region and reiterated their readiness to further develop cooperation and coordination across all sectors.

They also discussed the situation in Iraq and the wider region, including developments in Syria.
