Prime Minister Barzani Receives UN Special Representative

Erbil, Kurdistan Region (GOV.KRD) – Today, Prime Minister Masrour Barzani received Mohammed Al Hassan, the Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General and Head of the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI).

They discussed recent developments in the Kurdistan Region, and the situation in Iraq and the wider region.

They highlighted the importance of safeguarding the constitutional rights and financial entitlements of the people of Kurdistan, and upholding the federal status of the Kurdistan Region.
