Prime Minister Masrour Barzani Receives Ambassador of Armenia

Erbil, Kurdistan Region (GOV.KRD) – Prime Minister Masrour Barzani on Thursday received Ruben Soghoyan, Ambassador of Armenia to Iraq.

They stressed the importance of further developing relations between the Kurdistan Region and Armenia across various sectors. They also highlighted Prime Minister Barzani’s meetings with the President and Prime Minister of Armenia on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos.

Ambassador Soghoyan expressed his country’s appreciation for protecting the rights of the Armenian community in the Kurdistan Region.

They also exchanged views on the KRG’s reforms to build a strong economic infrastructure, developments in Iraq and efforts to elect the President of Iraq and form the new federal government.
