Prime Minister Masrour Barzani Receives UK Ambassador

Erbil, Kurdistan Region (GOV.KRD) – Today, Prime Minister Masrour Barzani received Irfan Siddiq, United Kingdom Ambassador to Iraq.

They discussed the situation in Iraq, as well as efforts to elect the new President of the Republic and form the new federal government cabinet.

They exchanged views on developments in the region, particularly in Syria. They emphasized resolving issues through peace and dialogue, and protecting the rights of the Kurdish people and all components in Syria.
