Prime Minister Barzani Meets Crown Prince of Jordan in Davos

Erbil, Kurdistan Region (GOV.KRD) – Prime Minister Masrour Barzani on Thursday met with H.R.H. Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos.

They emphasized the importance of further strengthening the friendly and historic relations between the Kurdistan Region and Jordan.

The Prime Minister expressed the Kurdistan Region’s gratitude and appreciation for the Kingdom of Jordan’s continued support, as well as for His Majesty King Abdullah II.

For his part, the Crown Prince conveyed His Majesty King Abdullah II’s greetings to the Prime Minister and reiterated his country’s readiness to continue supporting the Kurdistan Region.

They also discussed the situation in Iraq and efforts to form the new federal government, as well as developments in Syria and the importance of sustaining the ceasefire and resolving issues through understanding, dialogue, and negotiations.
