Prime Minister Masrour Barzani Meets Egypt Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade

Erbil, Kurdistan Region (GOV.KRD) – On the margins of the World Economic Forum, Prime Minister Masrour Barzani met with Hassan Al-Khatib, Egypt’s Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade.

They emphasized the importance of further strengthening relations between the Kurdistan Region and Egypt. They also discussed the Prime Minister’s recent visit to Cairo and his talks with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

Both sides agreed on strengthening bilateral ties in investment and trade. In this regard, the Prime Minister noted the signing of an agreement in recent days between the KRG and Egypt’s Iskraemeco, within the framework of the Runaki Project, to supply smart electricity meters.
