Prime Minister Masrour Barzani Receives Egypt’s Consul

Erbil, Kurdistan Region (GOV.KRD) – Prime Minister Masrour Barzani on Monday received Mahmoud Farouk Youssef, the Consul of Egypt in Erbil.

They discussed the Prime Minister’s recent visit to Cairo and his meeting with President, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

The Consul highlighted the importance of the visit and its role in further advancing bilateral relations across various sectors. He reaffirmed his country’s desire to further strengthen ties with the Kurdistan Region.

The Prime Minister expressed his appreciation for Egypt’s role and for President El-Sisi’s support for the Kurdish cause, as well as for peace and stability in the region.
