Prime Minister Receives Iraq’s Permanent Representative to UNESCO

Erbil, Kurdistan Region (GOV.KRD) – Prime Minister Masrour Barzani on Sunday received Asaad Turki Swari, Iraq’s Permanent Representative to UNESCO.

During the meeting, Representative Swari provided an overview of his work and activities within the organization, and highlighted the importance of representing all of Iraq’s components and areas, including the Kurdistan Region, within UNESCO.

The Prime Minister expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the Representative Swari efforts, work, and activities, and wished him success in his duties. The Prime Minister also stressed the importance of the Kurdistan Region’s participation as associate member within UNESCO.
