KRG Statement on Shooting Incident in Erbil

The Kurdistan Regional Government condemns in the strongest possible terms today’s shooting incident at a restaurant in Erbil, which resulted in the deaths of two people, including a Turkish diplomat, and the injury of one other person.

The relevant authorities have launched a thorough investigation to find and prosecute the perpetrators of this criminal act. No one will be allowed to harm the security and stability of Kurdistan Region.
