Head of KRG Representation Office in Baghdad Meets with Armenian Ambassador

On Sunday, 22 June 2025, Faris Issa, Head of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Representation Office in Baghdad, visited the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Baghdad, where he met with Ambassador Ruben Soghoyan.

During the meeting, they discussed the ongoing Israeli-Iranian conflict and explored ways to safeguard neighbouring countries from the potential fallout and devastation of regional escalation.

They also reviewed the bilateral relations between the Kurdistan Region and Armenia, expressing mutual interest in strengthening cooperation across various sectors, including the economy, investment, and tourism.
