IKMAA Hands Over Cleared Minefield to Owner in Slemani

On Sunday, 22 June 2025, as part of its ongoing operations, the Slemani Office of the Iraqi Kurdistan Mine Action Agency (IKMAA), through the Committee for the Handover of Cleared Minefields, successfully cleared a minefield in the Tanjaro subdistrict of Slemani Governorate and formally handed the land back to its rightful owner.
A total area of 13,335 square metres was cleared, with dozens of landmines and explosive remnants safely identified and destroyed.
