Natural Resources Ministry's delegation meets with SOMO company

 

On Monday, February 13, 2023, a delegation of the Ministry of Natural Resources led by Kamal Mohammed, Acting Minister of Natural Resources, visited the Iraqi Oil Marketing Company (SOMO).
During the visit, the delegation of the Ministry of Natural Resources and SOMO emphasized on creating better coordination between the two sides and discussed the efforts to reach an agreement between the Kurdistan Region Government and the federal government to pass the oil and gas law in Iraq.
A delegation from the Kurdistan Region Government (KRG) arrived in Baghdad on Saturday evening to continue talks with the federal government and During the visit, they held several meetings with the relevant parties in the federal government in order to reach an agreement.
