KRG Ministry of Natural Resources: Drone Strike Targets DNO Oil Field

At 10:55 a.m. on Thursday, 17 July 2025, a drone strike targeted the DNO oil field in Tawke, within the Zakho District. The attack resulted in no casualties.

The Ministry of Natural Resources strongly condemns such attacks on the economic infrastructure of the Kurdistan Region.

It has repeatedly urged the federal government and the international community to protect the lives of citizens and civil servants in these areas and to prevent further attacks on the Kurdistan Region and its energy sector.
