Germany to support Bitwen Sugar factory in the Kurdistan region

Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq (GOV.KRD) - KRG's Minister of Agriculture and Water Resources, Begard Talabani on Sunday received Werner Krauss, and a delegation of investors from German-based AMIRA company.

In the meeting, Talabani discussed ways to improve and develop the agricultural sector in the Kurdistan Region through AMIRA contributions and investment in the region.

The German delegation announced their country's willingness to technically and financially support Bitwen Sugar Factory in the Kurdistan Region through the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources.
