Statement of the Minster of Culture and Youth on the Occasion of International Mother Language Day.

As we know, February 21st of every year has been designated as the International Mother Language Day by UNESCO.

On this occasion, we congratulate the speakers of all the languages all over the world. We hope that no language fade away or face extinction because of the influence of a dominant language or language of the 'majority'. At the Ministry of Culture and Youth, we have always tried to provide the basis for the preservation and promotion of all the languages and dialects. We believe the loss of any of those is a major hit to our heritage of diversity.
