KRG Deputy Minister of Culture and Youth Receives Delegation from Indigenous Ministries Organisation

On Tuesday, 8 April 2025, Arian Salahaddin, Deputy Minister of Culture and Youth of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), received a delegation from the Indigenous Ministries organisation.

Deputy Minister Salahaddin commended the valuable work carried out by Indigenous Ministries in supporting children across the Kurdistan Region. He expressed appreciation for the organisation’s longstanding commitment and voiced hope for its continued presence and efforts in the Region.

Ms Dee A. Cook, President of Indigenous Ministries, conveyed her appreciation for the opportunity to visit the Kurdistan Region and praised the KRG and the Ministry of Culture and Youth for its dedication to serving children and delivering essential public services such as education, despite the enduring challenges posed by the war on terror and ongoing financial difficulties.

For over 12 years, Indigenous Ministries has provided crucial support in the Kurdistan Region, particularly through the provision of educational materials and assistance to students in need.
