Joint meeting to develop the education sector in the Kurdistan Region

Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq (GOV.KRD) - A joint meeting held between the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research on Tuesday to discuss the current issues and ways to develop the education sector in the Kurdistan Region, which was attended by a number of University presidents, consultants, and director generals from both ministries.
 
The Minister of Education, Alan Hama Saeed Salih reassured the necessity of continue the meetings between both ministries to discuss the issues and problems within the education sector.

Both sides also discussed the possibility of opening scientific departments in the Kurdistan Region's Universities, for this purpose the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Aram Muhamad Qader will make necessary preparations. 

Another topic of the meeting was specified for unifying the vocational education strategy in the Kurdistan Region.
